FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup is the top basketball tournament in Asia for 3x3 basketball, 3x3 national teams and was first held in 2013 as the FIBA Asia 3x3 Championship in Doha, Qatar. In the championship there are 2 events, men's and women's. Each team has 4 players (3 on court, 1 bench). The match is played on a half court and every rule applies as well as a 12-second shot clock and clearance needed on a new possession. From 2019 to 2022, the tournament was held in Changsha, China. 2023 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The 2023 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup was the sixth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup. There were 80 games that were played in 2023, with half in the qualification draw and the other half in the main draw. The men and women's champions won a spot at one of the qualifying tournaments for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The FIBA Asia Cup (formerly the FIBA Asia Championship and ABC Championship) is an international basketball tournament which takes place every four years between the men's national teams of Asia and Oceania. Through the 2015 edition, the tournament took place every two years and was also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and the Olympic basketball tournament. The FIBA 3x3 U17 Asia Cup (or FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup until 2022) for boys and girls is the Asian edition of the FIBA Asia's FIBA 33 championship for boys and girls under the age of 18.
