F.C. Tzeirei Tur'an () is an Arab-Israeli football club based in Tur'an. The club currently plays in Liga Bet North B division. History The club was founded in 2009, following the closure of Maccabi Tur'an, at the end of the 2007–08 season and registered to play in Liga Gimel, where it was placed in the Upper Galilee division. The club finished 5th in the division in its first two seasons and was transferred to the Jezreel Division before the 2011–12 season and was promoted to Liga Bet after winning a play-off against Hapoel Bnei Nujeidat, as the teams were tied at the top of the table. Tur'an
Tur'an (, ) is an Arab local council in the Northern District of Israel. It is located at the foot of Mount Tur'an and the Tur'an Valley, near the main road from Haifa to Tiberias, and about north of Nazareth. In it had a population of , most of whom are Israeli Arabs. Liga Bet
Liga Bet () is the fourth tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into four regional divisions. History League football started in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef with Liga Bet as the second division. The 1952–53 season was also not played, and Liga Bet resumed in 1953–54. The 2007–08 Liga Bet season saw Ahva Arraba (champions of the North A division), Maccabi Kafr Qara (champions of the North B division), Hapoel Hadera (champions of the South A division) and Hapoel Masos/Segev Shalom (champions of the South B division) winning the title and promotion to Liga Alef. Liga Gimel (, lit. ''League C'') is, since 2009, the fifth and bottom division of Israeli football league system, Israeli Football League. From Liga Alef and downwards, including Liga Gimel, each league is separated by region. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Hapoel (, ) is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation.
