Ewen Cameron (presenter)
Ewen Cameron (born 23 May 1972) is a Scottish comedian, television presenter and radio DJ. He currently presents on Bauer Media's Greatest Hits Radio Scotland and hosts ''The Big Scottish Football Podcast'' alongside Steven Mill. Cameron hosted the late-night television programme ''The Late Show with Ewen Cameron'' on STV2 from 2016 to 2018. He was also host of STV2 lifestyle show '' Live at Five'', from 2016 until 2018, as well as hosting a variety of STV television specials, including, ''The Festival Show'' and ''Scotland's Big Sleep Out''. Early life Cameron grew up in Edinburgh and attended Tynecastle High School. He has two brothers; their parents split when they were young. He also had a half-brother, Craig, who died after taking his own life in April 2014, aged 31. Cameron has suffered from panic attacks since he was 13. STV2
STV2 was a British local television network in Scotland, operating five city-based TV licences serving Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Ayr. It was owned and operated by STV Group plc. Initially broadcast as two separate stations – STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh – the launch of three local licences in Aberdeen, Dundee and Ayr led to the launch of a single networked service on 24 April 2017. In May 2018, it was announced that STV2 would shut down at the end of June 2018 as part of a strategic review. It closed on 30 June 2018. Bauer Media Audio UK is a UK-based radio division of the Bauer Media Group. History In early 2008, German magazine publisher Bauer bought the radio division of British company Emap, which had been established as East Midland Allied Press in 1947. Consequently, Emap Radio Limited was renamed to Bauer Radio Limited. Forth 2 is an Independent Local Radio station based in Edinburgh, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Edinburgh, Lothian, Fife and West Central Scotland. As of September 2022, the station has a weekly audience of 73,000 listeners according to RAJAR. MFR is an Independent Local Radio station based in Inverness, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Hits Radio Network. It broadcasts to Moray, the Scottish Highlands and South West Aberdeenshire. As of December 2022, the station has a weekly audience of 119,000 listeners according to RAJAR. Clyde 1 is an Independent Local Radio station based in Glasgow, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Glasgow and West Central Scotland.
