Enjo Kōsai
is a type of transactional relationship similar to the western equivalent being a call girl of Sugaring. It is the Japanese language term for the practice of older men giving money and/or luxury gifts to attractive young women for sexual favors. The female participants range from school girls (or JK business) to housewives. The term is often translated as "compensated dating" or "subsidized dating". The opposite case of women paying men, , is not a documented social phenomenon, but fraudulent solicitations from fictive women offering to pay for sex is a common tactic in phishing emails. is a Japanese anime series, created by Sunrise. Directed by Masakazu Obara and written by Hiroyuki Yoshino, it premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo from September 2004 to March 2005. The series focuses on the lives of HiMEs—girls with the capacity to materialize photons—gathered at Fuka Academy for secret purposes. The series was licensed for North American distribution by Bandai Entertainment and European distribution by Bandai's European subsidiary, Beez, with the first American DVD released in March 2006. is a Japanese street racing manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Young Magazine'' from 1995 to 2013, with the chapters collected into 48 ''tankōbon'' volumes. The story focuses on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes and rarely in cities or urban areas, and with the drifting racing style emphasized in particular. Professional race car driver and pioneer of drifting Keiichi Tsuchiya helped with editorial supervision. is a manga series written and illustrated by Mihona Fujii. It was published by Shueisha and serialized in ''Ribon'' ''shōjo'' manga magazine from 1998 to 2002. An anime television series adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot titled aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between April 1, 2001 and March 31, 2002, running a length of 52 episodes. is a 1998 Japanese experimental coming-of-age film directed and co-written by Hideaki Anno, based on the novel ''Topaz II'' by Ryū Murakami''.'' It was Anno's first live action feature-length film. The film was shot almost entirely on hand-held digital cameras and contains some very unusual camera work, including many different mounted camera positions, such as on a model train riding on tracks. The film also flips from widescreen to fullscreen, distorts (with effects such as a fisheye lens), confuses, and makes use of overlays stacked in layers to convey the character's emotions. Masato Harada
is a Japanese film director, film critic, and sometimes an actor; he is best known to foreign audiences as Omura in ''The Last Samurai'' and as Mr Mita in '' Fearless''.
