The Exo Terrebonne-Mascouche and Exo L'Assomption sectors are the division responsible for providing public transit service to mainly the communities of Terrebonne, Quebec, Terrebonne, Mascouche, Quebec, Mascouche, Repentigny, Quebec, Repentigny and L'Assomption, Quebec, L'Assomption. History The Ministry of Transport (Quebec), Quebec Ministry of Transport produced a report in 1999 which analyzed the Lanaudière region's transport problems. Exo (public Transit)
Exo, stylized as exo and officially known as the (, RTM; ), is a public transport, public transport system in Greater Montreal, including the Island of Montreal, Laval, Quebec, Laval (Île Jésus), and communities along both the North Shore (Laval), North Shore of the Rivière des Mille-Îles, Mille-Îles River and the South Shore (Montreal), South Shore of the St. Lawrence River. Repentigny () is an off-island suburbs, off-island suburb of Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located North Shore (Laval), north of the city on the lower end of the L'Assomption River, and on the Saint Lawrence River. Repentigny and Charlemagne, Quebec, Charlemagne were the first towns off the eastern tip of the Island of Montreal. Repentigny is part of the Lanaudière region. During the town's first 250 years, Repentigny was only inhabited by a few hundred peasants, or habitants, and was an agricultural community. Pie-IX BRT
The Pie-IX BRT is a bus rapid transit (BRT) corridor on Pie-IX Boulevard in Montreal between Saint Catherine Street in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Saint Martin in Laval. After four years of construction, the majority of Pie-IX BRT stations opened in November 2022, with the remaining opening in 2023. It is currently served by the 439 route. Historically, an express bus service was available on Pie-IX Boulevard between 1990 and 2002 by the Société de transport de la communauté urbaine de Montréal (STCUM), until the system was abandoned due to safety concerns following deaths of pedestrians. Société de transport de Laval (, STL) is the public transit system in the city of Laval, Quebec, Canada. History The STL was founded in June 1971 as the ''Commission de transport de la Ville de Laval (CTL)''. It later changed its name in 1985 to the ''Société de transport de la Ville de Laval'', until changing to its current name in 2001. In 2009 and 2010, a proposal to convert some of STL's most heavily used routes to trolleybus, electric trolleybuses was studied in detail, funded jointly by STL and Hydro-Québec, but in the fourth quarter of 2010, STL decided to postpone making a decision on trolleybuses until at least 2011, to allow further study of rechargeable electric buses first.
