Excalibur (comic Book)
''Excalibur'' is the name of several superhero comic books published by Marvel Comics since 1988 in comics, 1988, generally featuring the team of the Excalibur (comics), same name. The first volumes ran for 125 issues, complemented by several one-shot special editions, between 1987 in comics, 1987 and 1998. The second was a four-issue limited series published in 2001 in comics, 2001, and the third an ongoing series printed from 2004 in comics, 2004 and 2005 in comics, 2005 before being relaunched as ''New Excalibur''. While featuring some of the same characters and concepts, the second and third series did not centre on an Excalibur team. ''Amazing Heroes'' was a magazine about the comic book medium published by American company Fantagraphics Books from 1981 to 1992. Unlike its companion title, '' The Comics Journal'', ''Amazing Heroes'' was a hobbyist magazine rather than an analytical journal. Publication history Fantagraphics decided to publish ''Amazing Heroes'' as another income stream to supplement ''The Comics Journal''. New Mutants
The New Mutants are a group of fictional mutant superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, generally in association with the X-Men. Originally depicted as the teenaged junior class at the Xavier Institute, subsequent stories have depicted the characters as adult superheroes (in their eponymous series as well as in related titles such as '' X-Force'' and '' The Avengers'') or as teachers and mentors to younger mutants. ''Captain Britain'' is a British comic feature published by Marvel UK - the British division of Marvel Comics between 1976 and 1985, in various anthology magazines. The first of these was named after the strip and debuted the first incarnation of Captain Britain, Brian Braddock. The strip was revived in 1980 and appeared in various British comics before headlining a second eponymous series in 1985. After this was cancelled in 1986, many of the characters and concepts were incorporated into the Marvel Comics series ''Excalibur''. Creation Marvel UK had been established in 1972. In order to fit in with the style of British weeklies, titles such as '' The Mighty World of Marvel'' consisted of reprinted Marvel material in an anthology magazine format, with much of the colour removed. "Dawn of X" is a 2019 relaunch of the ''X-Men'' line of comic books published by Marvel Comics in the wake of the twin miniseries ''House of X'' and ''Powers of X'' and is the first phase of the Krakoan Age.
