''Evropesma'' ( sr-Cyrl, Европесма) or ''Europjesma'' () was a pop song contest in Serbia and Montenegro which ran from 2004 to 2006. The winning song represented the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. It was organized by the Serbia and Montenegro union of broadcasters UJRT (consisting of RTS and RTCG). In 2005 and 2006, ''Beovizija'' and '' Montevizija'' served as Serbia's and Montenegro's semi-finals for ''Evropesma'' (respectively). After the dissolution of the state union between Serbia and Montenegro, the semifinal contests took over the role of this festival. Voting process RTCG argued that fairly anonymous representatives from Montenegro have little chance against a number of big music stars that generally take part on behalf of RTS, and who are usually famous in Montenegro itself. Beovizija 2004
Serbia and Montenegro was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "" , composed by Željko Joksimović, with lyrics by Leontina Vukomanović, and performed by Željko Joksimović and the Ad-Hoc Orchestra. The Serbian-Montenegrin participant broadcaster, (UJRT), organised the national final ''Evropesma, Evropesma-Europjesma 2004'' in order to select its entry for the contest. A total of twenty-four entries competed in the national final held on 21 February 2004. "" performed by Željko Joksimović was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from an eight-member jury panel and a public televote. Serbia and Montenegro competed in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2004. Željko Joksimović
Željko Joksimović ( sr-Cyrl, Жељко Јоксимовић, ; born 20 April 1972) is a Serbian vocalist, composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He plays 12 different musical instruments including accordion, piano, guitar and drums. Joksimović is multi-lingual, being fluent in Greek, English, Russian, Polish and French as well as his native Serbian. A singer-songwriter, Joksimović has been successful composing for other artists throughout the Balkans. He has written five ballads that have represented their respective countries at the Eurovision Song Contest: " Lane moje", " Lejla", " Oro", " Nije ljubav stvar" and " Adio". He also composes music for films, television series, and theater shows. He represented Serbia and Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "Lane moje", placing second. Negative (pop-rock Band)
Negative () is a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1999. Fronted by vocalist Ivana Peters (née Pavlović), the band enjoyed large popularity and was one of the most notable acts of the Serbian rock scene during the 2000s. History 1999-2015 Negative was formed in the spring of 1999, during the NATO bombing of FR Yugoslavia, by Ivana Pavlović (vocals), Nikola Radaković (guitar), Vladimir "Grle" Đurđević (guitar), Milen Zlatanović (bass guitar) and Miloš Bilanović (drums). Pavlović started her career in the early 1990s as a member of rap group Who Is The Best, and from 1994 to 1999 she was a member of the pop group Tap 011, recording three albums with them. Negative released their debut self-titled album in 1999. The album was mostly power pop-oriented.
