European Border And Coast Guard
The European Border and Coast Guard Agency, commonly known as Frontex (from French ''frontières extérieures'', "external borders"), is an Agencies of the European Union, agency of the European Union headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. In coordination with the border guard, border and coast guards of member states, it exercises border control of the European Schengen Area, a task within the area of freedom, security and justice domain. Formally, the Agency's remit is to "support Member States on the ground in their efforts to protect the external borders"; it does not have authority to act otherwise unless "external border control" [by a member state] "is rendered ineffective to such an extent that it risks jeopardising the functioning of the Schengen area". Warsaw Spire
The Warsaw Spire is a complex of Neomodern architecture, neomodern office buildings in Warsaw, Poland, constructed by the Belgian real estate developer Ghelamco. Description Located in the Wola district of Warsaw, the complex consists of a 220-metre main tower with a hyperboloid structure, hyperboloid glass façade, Warsaw Spire A, and two 55-metre auxiliary buildings, Warsaw Spire B and C. The main tower is the List of tallest buildings in Poland, third tallest building in Poland (after the Varso, Varso Tower and the Palace of Culture and Science). The design of the skyscraper and adjacent buildings was developed by the Belgian architectural studio Jaspers-Eyers Architects, in cooperation with the Polish-Belgian Projekt Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury. Finland–Russia Border
The international border between Finland and Russia is long and runs approximately north to south, mostly through taiga forests and sparsely populated rural areas. It does not follow any natural landmarks, such as mountains or rivers. It is also an external border of the European Union and NATO. Bulgaria–Turkey Border
The Bulgaria–Turkey border (,) is a long international border between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey. It was established by the Treaty of San Stefano in 1878 as an inner border within the Ottoman Empire between Adrianople Vilayet and the autonomous province of Eastern Rumelia. The current borders are defined by the Treaty of Constantinople (1913) and the Bulgarian–Ottoman convention (1915). The border was reaffirmed by the Treaty of Lausanne ten years later, though Bulgaria was not a party to the latter treaty as it had earlier ceded to Greece that part of its border with Turkey which was modified by the Bulgarian-Ottoman convention.
