Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves (born 24 April 2007), known as Estêvão Willian or just Estêvão, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Palmeiras and the Brazil national team. Estêvão Da Gama (15th Century)
Estêvão da Gama (about 1430–July 1497) was a wealthy Portuguese knight of the fifteenth century, best known as the father of explorer Vasco da Gama. Family and early life Estêvão da Gama was the eldest son (out of four) of a certain Vasco da Gama of Olivença and Dona Teresa da Silva. In the 1460s, Estêvão was a knight in the household of the royal prince Infante Ferdinand, Duke of Viseu, and, at some point, entered the military Order of Santiago. He was subsequently rewarded for his services with the position of ''Alcaide Mor'' (civil governor) of Sines, a post he held until 1478. He continued collecting taxes and dues in Sines and environs on behalf of the Order of Santiago. Estêvão Da Gama (16th Century)
D. Estêvão da Gama ( 1505–1576) was the Portuguese governor of Portuguese Gold Coast (1529–1535) and Portuguese India (1540–1542). Named after his paternal grandfather Estêvão da Gama, Estêvão was the second son of Vasco da Gama, and the brother of Cristóvão da Gama. He commanded the fleet that entered the Red Sea, with the intent of attacking the Ottoman fleet in its harbor at Suez, leaving Goa on 31 December 1540 and reaching Aden on 27 January 1541. The fleet reached Massawa on 12 February, where Gama left a number of ships and continued north. Reaching Suez, he discovered that the Ottomans had long had intelligence of his raid, and foiled his attempt to burn their beached ships. Gama was forced to retrace his steps to Massawa, although pausing to attack the port of El-Tor on the Sinai Peninsula. Estêvão de Brito (c. 15701641) was a Portuguese composer of polyphony. Life Estêvão de Brito was born in Serpa, Portugal. He studied music at the Cathedral of Évora with Filipe de Magalhães. In January 1597 he was already ''mestre de capela'' of the Cathedral of Badajoz (Spain), where he stayed until 1613. In that year, he went to the cathedral of Málaga and succeeded Francisco Vásquez bearing the same office as Cristóbal de Morales, precisely 50 years before. He stayed in Málaga until his death in 1641. Estêvão Gomes (– 1538), also known by the Spanish version of his name Esteban Gómez, was a Portuguese explorer. He sailed in the service of Castile (Spain) in the fleet of Ferdinand Magellan, but deserted the expedition when they had reached the Strait of Magellan and returned to Spain in May 1521. In 1524, he explored the coast of present-day New England and Nova Scotia. As a result of Gomes' expedition, cartographer Diogo Ribeiro was the first to accurately portray North America with a continuous coastline stretching from Florida to Nova Scotia. Life Gomes was born in Porto in northern Portugal, of African ancestry. He sailed in the Portuguese India Armadas during his youth. Estêvão Roberto da Silva (1844? in Rio de Janeiro – 9 November 1891, in Rio de Janeiro) was an Afro-Brazilian painter and art teacher. Life His background is not known for certain, but his parents may have been slaves. He enrolled at the Academia Imperial de Belas Artes in 1864, where he studied with Victor Meirelles and Agostinho José da Mota, who inspired him to specialize in still-lifes.
