Eoin Murphy (Kilkenny Hurler)
Eoin Murphy (born 6 August 1990) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Senior Championship club Glenmore and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a goalkeeper. He is widely considered the best modern goalkeeper in the sport, and one of the best of all time. Playing career New Ross Vocational College Murphy first came to prominence as a Gaelic footballer at New Ross Vocational College. It was during his time here that he was selected for the Wexford vocational schools' team. Murphy won back-to-back All-Ireland B Championship medals in 2008 and 2009. Waterford Institute of Technology Murphy studied at the Waterford Institute of Technology and joined the senior hurling team in his second year at the institute. Kilmacow GAA
Kilmacow GAA club is situated in the village of Kilmacow. The club has a hurling team which competes in the Junior Hurling Championship. They have won the Kilkenny Junior Hurling Championship once in 1956 when the club was known then as St.Senan's GAA. Kilmacow also have a Camogie club ranging from Under-8s to Juniors, they are amalgamated with Slieverue at Intermediate and Under-22 level and are named St.Claires Camogie club. In the early days of Kilkenny GAA, senior winning club teams represented the county team in the All-Ireland Senior Championships. Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the oneills.com Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship), is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by oneills.com. The 2009 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 46th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 20 May 2009 and ended on 13 September 2009. Kilkenny entered the championship as the defending champions. The 2008 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 78th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 29 March 2008 and ended on 7 September 2008. Tipperary entered the championship as the defending champions in search of a third successive title, however, they were beaten by Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final. On 7 September 2008 Kilkenny won the championship following a 3-6 to 0-13 defeat of Galway in a replay of the All-Ireland final. The 2021 Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 57th staging of the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1929. The championship began on 9 October 2021 and ended on 14 November 2021. The final was played on 14 November 2021 at UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny, between Glenmore and St. Lachtain's, in what was their first ever meeting in a final. CLG Eoghan Rua
CLG Eoghan Rua Cúil Raithin is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Despite some of the club's catchment area being in County Antrim, the club is a member of the Derry GAA. Eoghan Rua currently cater for Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, and Ladies' Gaelic football and also compete in Scór and Scór n nÓg. The club's name commemorates Eoghan Rua Ó Néill.
