Endless Winter
"Endless Winter" is a 2020 crossover event in DC Comics publications. Written by Andy Lanning and Ron Marz, the story follows the Frost King's efforts to cause an eternal global winter and the Justice League's efforts to stop him. Taking place in the New Justice relaunch, the story appeared in nine issues spread across five comic titles published over five weeks in December 2020. Publication history DC first announced the storyline in July 2020. Initially planned to last two months as part of a major relaunch/rebranding effort by the publisher, by September it had been compressed to a five-week event. DC further advertised the story in a special 6-page section of their comics released on November 17. The crossover was spread across nine issues of various comic book titles, beginning and ending with the two-issue limited series titled ''Justice League: Endless Winter''. Andy Lanning
Andy Lanning is an English comic book writer and inker, known for his work for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and for his collaboration with Dan Abnett. Career Lanning works primarily at Marvel Comics and DC Comics as an inker. He has also pencilled books, such as his creation '' The Sleeze Brothers''. Lanning's writing has included his and Abnett's 2000 relaunch of DC's title ''Legion of Super-Heroes''. The two co-created the Resurrection Man character with artist Jackson Guice in 1997. Lanning and Abnett also collaborated on an ongoing '' Nova'' series for Marvel, which premiered in 2007. The duo previously authored a ''Nova'' miniseries as a tie-in for the Marvel crossover Annihilation, starring Richard Rider, now the only member of the Xandarian Nova Corps. This led into their piloting the " Annihilation: Conquest" storyline, and the core characters from this went on to form the new Guardians of the Galaxy. Flash (DC Comics Character)
The Flash is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, the original Flash first appeared in ''Flash Comics'' #1 (cover date, cover-dated January 1940, released November 1939).
