Emperor's Cup And Empress's Cup All Japan Volleyball Championship
is a Japanese volleyball competition that was established in 2007. It is organized by the Japan Volleyball Association. The word ''Tennō'' (天皇) means the Emperor of Japan, and the term ''Kōgō'' (皇后) is the Japanese empresses, Empress of Japan. The Tennō Kōgō Commemorative Cup is given to the champion of the tournament. The Commemorative Cup was given to the winner of the Kurowashiki All Japan Volleyball Championship until 2006. The Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) is the governing body for volleyball in Japan. It was founded in 1927, and has been a member of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, FIVB since 1951. Yuji Nishida
is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently, Nishida plays for Osaka Bluteon at club level. Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Sakai's Osaka Blazers Sakai, and made his first international performance with the Japanese national team in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. Nishida transferred to play for Volley Callipo in the Italian Volleyball League for the 2021–22 season. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result in 29 years. Sarina Koga
or is a Japanese people, Japanese retired volleyball player who used to be captain (volleyball), captain of the Japan women's national volleyball team. Koga won the bronze medal at the 2013 FIVB Women's U23 Volleyball World Championship, 2013 U23 World Championship with Japan women's national volleyball team, Japan's U23 national team. Masahiro Yanagida
is a Japanese male volleyball player. He is a member of the Japan men's national volleyball team, playing Outside Hitter. At the club level he plays for the Tokyo Great Bears. Yanagida captained the senior national team from 2018 to 2021. Career Yanagida started playing volleyball at 7 years old under the influence of his parents. While attending in 2010, his school participated in the 41st Spring High Tournament. He led his team to win the championships as the captain. Arisa Inoue
is a Japanese volleyball player who plays for the Hisamitsu Springs. She also plays for the Japan women's national volleyball team. Inoue won a silver medal with the Japan U20 national team at the 2013 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship. She also competed at the 2014 Montreux Volley Masters, 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship with the Japan women's national volleyball team. Bartosz Kurek
Bartosz Kamil Kurek (born 29 August 1988) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite spiker for ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and captains the Poland national team. Kurek took part in 4 Olympic Games (London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024) winning silver medal in Paris. He also won the 2018 World Champion title as well as the 2009 and the 2023 European Championship titles. Victorina Himeji
is a women's volleyball team based in Himeji, Japan. The owner of the team is Masayoshi Manabe, former head coach of the Japan women's national volleyball team. The club was founded in 2016. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures.
