Elisabeth Of Brandenburg, Landgravine Of Thuringia
Elisabeth of Brandenburg ( – 1231) a member of the House of Ascania. She was a Margravine of Brandenburg by birth and by marriage Landgravine of Thuringia. She was the daughter of Margrave Albert II of Brandenburg and his wife Matilda of Groitzsch, the daughter of Landgrave Conrad II of Lusatia from the House of Wettin. In 1228, she married Landgrave Henry Raspe of Thuringia, the later anti-king of Germany. The marriage remained childless. Elisabeth died in 1231, at the age of 25, after three years of marriage. Elisabeth of Hohenzollern (; 1 May/29 September 1403 – 31 October 1449), was a Germans, German princess member of the House of Hohenzollern and by her two marriages Duchess of Brzeg-Legnica and Cieszyn. She was the eldest daughter of Frederick I, Elector of Brandenburg by his wife Elisabeth, daughter of Frederick, Duke of Bavaria-Landshut. Life Elisabeth married Duke Louis II of Brzeg-Legnica on 9 April 1418 in the city of Konstanz, during the Council of Constance, Council where her father, then only Burgrave of Nürnberg, was elevated to the Elector of Brandenburg, Electoral title from his Margraviate of Brandenburg. Elizabeth of Brandenburg (1425 – after 13 January 1465) was a princess of Brandenburg by birth and marriage Duchess of Pomerania. Life Elizabeth was a daughter of the Margrave John ''the Alchemist'' of Brandenburg-Kulmbach (1406–1464) from his marriage to Barbara (1405–1465), daughter of Duke Rudolf III of Saxe-Wittenberg. Elizabeth's father renounced his rights to the succession in Brandenburg and instead received the Franconian possessions of the House of Hohenzollern. Albrecht III (9 November 141411 March 1486) was Elector of Brandenburg from 1471 until his death, the third from the House of Hohenzollern. A member of the Order of the Swan, he received the cognomen ''Achilles'' because of his knightly qualities and virtues. Elizabeth of Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach (25 March 1494 in Ansbach – 31 May 1518 in Pforzheim) was a princess of Brandenburg-Ansbach by birth and by marriage Margravine of Baden. Janusz Radziwiłł (; 2 July 1579 – 3 December 1620) was a noble and magnate of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. He was the deputy cup-bearer of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania since 1599, the castellan of Vilnius since 1619, and the starost of Borysów. Radziwiłł also held the title of '' Reichsfürst'' (Imperial Prince) of the Holy Roman Empire. He married Zofia Olelkowicz Słucka on 1 October 1600. She died in 1612, and was canonized by the Belarusian Orthodox Church as saint ''Sofia of Slutsk'' thanks to her charity and miracles on the grave.
