Elder Park
Elder Park is a public open space in the city of Adelaide, South Australia on the southern bank of the River Torrens and that is bordered by the Adelaide Festival Centre and North Terrace, Adelaide, North Terrace. It is part of Park 26 of the Adelaide Park Lands, and the Torrens Linear Park also passes through Elder Park. Originally named "Rotunda Park", the park was renamed in 1907 in honour of Sir Thomas Elder, an early settler, pastoralist, businessman and philanthropist, who had donated the Elder Park Rotunda, erected in 1882. The ironwork for the rotunda was fabricated at the Saracen Foundry in Glasgow. The Popeye (boat), Popeye motor launches cruise the River Torrens#Torrens Lake, Torrens Lake, from Elder Park upstream as far as the Adelaide Zoo; paddleboats for hire on the lake are also available. Elder Peak
Chapman Snowfield () is a large snowfield lying west of the central ridge in the Churchill Mountains in the Ross Dependency region of Antarctica. Location Chapman Snowfield is bounded to the north by Elder Peak and the massif surmounted by Mount Wharton, to the south by Soza Icefalls, Black Icefalls and the head of Starshot Glacier, and to the west by the Wallabies Nunataks and the All-Blacks Nunataks. Elder (administrative Title)
The term Elder, or its equivalent in another language, is used in several countries and organizations to indicate a position of authority. Elder Township, Cambria County, Pennsylvania
Elder Township is a township in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States, about northwest of Altoona. As of the 2010 census, the township had a population of 1,038. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Elder Township is located in northern Cambria County at 40.7 N by 78.7 W. It is bordered to the north by Clearfield County. Chest Creek, a northward-flowing tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River, forms the eastern boundary of the township. The borough of Hastings sits along the western border of the township but is separate from it. The borough of Patton touches the southeastern corner of the township. The Elder
''The Elder'' is an unreleased independent film adaptation of the 1981 Kiss concept album, '' Music from "The Elder"''. The film's plot derives from that concept, devised by Kiss co-founder Gene Simmons. The film was being produced by British author and musician Seb Hunter and partner Owen Oakeshott. The film was not acknowledged or sanctioned by Kiss or their management. As of 2024 the film remains unreleased.
