Eddie Hall vs. Hafþór Björnsson, taglined '' 'The Heaviest Boxing Match in History' '' at its time, and also known as "The Desolation of Eddie Hall" was a boxing match between Strongmen Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and Eddie Hall who both won the World's Strongest Man, that took place on 19 March 2022. Hall started the first round with continuous haymakers but Björnsson kept his composure and stuck to the basics, focusing on a solid jab and better footwork. Once Björnsson realized Hall's game plan, he took control of the fight by bludgeoning and knocking down Hall twice to the floor in rounds three and six. Britain's Strongest Man is an annual strongman event held in the United Kingdom. UK's Strongest Man
The United Kingdom Strength Council was founded by Glenn Ross, the famed strongman and also founder and promoter of the Irish Strength Association. The UKSC, as it is commonly termed, was promoted by Bob Daglish's Elite Strongman Promotions until March 2010. Beginnings Part of the reason for the foundation was that Glenn Ross is a champion of the idea that strongman is about lifting and moving heavy objects. Strength athletics is the collection of strength sports which measure physical strength, based on both: non-standard and historical implements as seen in Strongman and Highland games, and standardized and calibrated equipment as seen in Powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting, Weightlifting.
