"Eazy" is a song by American rappers The Game (rapper), The Game and Kanye West. It was released as a single on January 15, 2022. The song was released exclusively on Spotify two days before. The cover art for the single attracted controversy due to it featuring Nick Knight (photographer), Nick Knight's highly graphic 1997 photo of a skinned monkey. The song's music video attracted additional controversy due its depiction of West burying comedian Pete Davidson alive, who was dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian at the time. Background and marketing On January 12, 2022, in an Instagram video shared by designer Tracey Mills, West was seen talking to DJ Premier on FaceTime with the Game and fellow collaborators Pusha T and Mike Dean (record producer), Mike Dean in the studio. ''The Beautiful & Damned'' is the fifth studio album by American rapper G-Eazy. It was released on December 15, 2017, by RCA Records. It features guest appearances from Halsey, Cardi B, ASAP Rocky, Kehlani, E-40 and Charlie Puth. The album was preceded by three singles: " No Limit", " Him & I" and " Sober". Background The album's cover art and release was released on November 8, 2017. A short film accompanied its release date. The film was directed by Bobby Bruderle alongside G-Eazy, who co-wrote it and was released as an Apple Music exclusive. It was later revealed that G-Eazy paid for the film himself, costing around $700,000. In an interview with Angie Martinez, he revealed the album's concept. Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records. Eazy-E is often referred to as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap". Born in Compton, California, Wright had several legal troubles before founding Ruthless in 1987. After a short solo career with frequent collaboration with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, they joined, forming N.W.A, later that year.
