The East–West Line (EWL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line operated by SMRT Corporation, SMRT in Singapore, running from Pasir Ris MRT station, Pasir Ris station in the East Region, Singapore, east to Tuas Link MRT station, Tuas Link station in the West Region, Singapore, west, with an additional branch line, branch between Changi Airport MRT station, Changi Airport and Tanah Merah MRT station, Tanah Merah stations. Lavender MRT Station
Lavender MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West MRT line, East West line in Kallang, Singapore. East Coast Integrated Depot
The East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) is a large integrated bus and train depot located in Changi, Singapore. It will serve three Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) lines: the East–West line (EWL), the Downtown line (DTL) and the Thomson–East Coast line (TEL). It is currently under construction, with expected completion in the second half of 2026. The depot will be located beside the current site of Changi Depot, which will be demolished. Changi Depot
Changi Depot is located in Changi near Koh Sek Lim Road, Singapore. Changi Depot comprises a train yard, which can hold a capacity of 46 trains and has an area of . The depot is used for both train inspection and deployment of trains to the East West line. The depot was up and running in late 1980s when the East West line was completed. This depot is beside the NEWater Visitor Centre and is near Expo MRT station. Ulu Pandan Depot () is a train depot near Jurong East, Singapore and it serves the trains on the North–South MRT line, North–South Line and East–West MRT line, East–West Line. The Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151C is the sixth generation electric multiple unit rolling stock in operation on the existing North–South (NSL) and East–West (EWL) lines of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, manufactured by a consortium of Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) and CRRC Qingdao Sifang under Contract 151C. Twelve trains were purchased. They were delivered between 2017 and 2019, and were tested before the full service in 2019. The first was delivered on 27 October 2017. The interior design was unveiled on 28 February 2018 at Tuas Depot with two trains showcased. The Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B is the fifth generation electric multiple unit rolling stock in operation on the existing North–South (NSL) and East–West (EWL) lines of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) and CRRC Qingdao Sifang under Contract 151B. 45 trains were purchased and all of them have been delivered to Singapore as of 12 April 2017.
