The Denmark women's national cricket team represents the Kingdom of Denmark in international women's cricket. The team is organised by the Dansk Cricket Forbund, an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Denmark's first recorded international fixture came against the Netherlands in 1983. The team made its One Day International (ODI) debut in 1989, at the European Championship, and went on to qualify for both the 1993 and 1997 World Cups, winning a single match at each tournament. 1989 Women's European Cricket Cup
The 1989 Women's European Cricket Cup was an international cricket tournament held in Denmark from 19 to 21 July 1989. It was the first edition of the Women's European Championship, and all matches at the tournament held One Day International (ODI) status. Four teams participated, with the hosts, Denmark, joined by the three other European members of the International Women's Cricket Council (IWCC) – England, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Jersey Women's National Cricket Team
The Jersey women's cricket team is the team that represents the Crown dependency of Jersey in international women's cricket matches. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2005, and an associate member in 2007. In April 2018, the ICC granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Jersey women and another international side after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. Twenty20 Cricket
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level.
