Dónal O'Grady (Limerick Hurler)
Donal O'Grady (born 3 July 1980) is an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder and later centre back for the Limerick senior team. Born in Ballingarry, County Limerick, O'Grady first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Limerick under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2004 championship. O'Grady has since gone on to play a key part for Limerick, and has won one Munster medal and one National League (Division 2) medal. O'Grady has been an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. O'Grady has been a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions and has won two Railway Cup medals. At club level he won one intermediate championship medal with Granagh-Ballingarry. He attended St Munchin's College, Limerick and graduated from there in 1998. Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The final, currently held in May, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a six-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. David Breen
David Breen (born 20 September 1985) is an Irish physiotherapist and hurler who played centre-forward and was the captain of the Limerick senior team. Breen made his first appearance for the team during the 2009 championship and has become a regular member of the starting fifteen over the last few seasons. Since then he has won one National Hurling League (Division 2) winners' medal. At club level, Breen has won both Munster and county championship winners' medals with Na Piarsaigh. Playing career Club Breen plays his club hurling with the Na Piarsaigh club in Limerick. After developing his hurling at juvenile levels he later came to prominence as a member of the club's minor hurling team. The 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 126th staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment in 1887. The draw for the 2013 fixtures took place on 4 October 2012. The championship began on 5 May 2013 and ended on 28 September 2013 with Clare GAA, Clare winning their fourth All Ireland title after a 5–16 to 3–16 win against Cork GAA, Cork in the replayed 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final, final. The 2013 Inter-Provincial Hurling Championship, known as the 2013 M Donnelly Hurling Inter-Provincial Championship due to the tournament's sponsorship by businessman Martin Donnelly, was the 84th series of the Inter-provincial Championship. The annual hurling championship between the four historic provinces of Ireland is contested by Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster. Justin McCarthy (hurler)
Justin J. McCarthy (born 1945) is an Irish former Hurling, hurler and Manager (Gaelic games), manager. At club level he lined out with numerous club and divisional sides, while he was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. McCarthy enjoyed a 30-year club career, during which time he lined out with Rochestown GAA, Rochestown, Passage West GAA, Passage and Shamrocks GAA (Cork), Shamrocks, as well as divisional sides Carrigdhoun GAA, Carrigdhoun and Seandún GAA, Seandún. Henry Shefflin
Henry Shefflin (born 11 January 1979) is an Irish hurling List of hurling managers, manager and former player who was the manager of the Galway senior hurling team from 2021 to 2024. Eddie Brennan
Edward Joseph Brennan (born 2 October 1978) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. His league and championship career with the Kilkenny senior team lasted twelve seasons from 2000 until 2011. Brennan was the manager of the Laois senior hurling team from 2019 to 2020. Brennan played competitive hurling in his final year at St Kieran's College, having earlier come to prominence as a dual player at minor levels with the Graigue–Ballycallan club. He won dual championship medals with the minor and under-21 teams, before later joining the club's junior team. Brennan eventually made the break onto the Graigue–Ballycallan senior team and won a Leinster medal in 2000, having earlier won a county senior championship medal.
