Duksfjorden
Duksfjorden () is a fjord arm that branches off the main Kamøyfjorden on the eastern side of the island of Magerøya in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The mouth of the inlet spans between Bryggnæringen in the north and the island of Store Kamøya in the south. The fjord extends about west to the end of the fjord. The fjord reaches a depth of about at its deepest point at the outer reaches of the fjord. Just beside Store Kamøya lies the island of Lille Kamøya and south of this lies the village of Kamøyvær. Risfjorden Between the island of Magerøya itself and Lille Kamøya, the little fjord of Risfjorden branches off the Duksfjorden and runs south, past Kamøyvær and the hamlet of Kuvika. Kamøyfjorden
Kamøyfjorden () is a fjord on the northeastern side of the large island of Magerøya in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The long fjord runs from the Barents Sea southwest with two smaller fjords that branch off: the Skipsfjorden, Magerøya, Skipsfjorden flowing to the south and the Duksfjorden flowing to the west. The mouth of the fjord spans between Beinviknæringen in the northwest and the Helnes Lighthouse in the southeast. The town of Honningsvåg lies just to the south of the fjord. The large Porsangerfjorden lies immediately to the east of this fjord. The Kamøyfjorden reaches a depth of at its deepest point, just northwest of Helnes. The islands of Store Kamøya, Nordkapp, Store Kamøya and Lille Kamøya, Nordkapp, Lille Kamøya lie in the middle of the fjord and, just north of the fishing village of Kamøyvær. Nordkapp Municipality
Nordkapp (; or ; or ) is a municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Honningsvåg, where most residents live. Other settlements in Nordkapp include the villages of Gjesvær, Kåfjord, Kamøyvær, Kjelvik, Nordvågen, Repvåg, Skarsvåg, and Valan. Lille Kamøya, Nordkapp
Lille Kamøya () is a small island in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. It is located just off the eastern coast of the large island of Magerøya. It lies where the Duksfjorden meets the Kamøyfjorden, just to the northwest of the island of Store Kamøya and to the north of the fishing village of Kamøyvær. The island helps to shelter Kamøyvær's harbour from the open sea. Kamøyvær
Kamøyvær is a fishing village in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The village lies along the Kamøyfjorden on the east side of the island of Magerøya, about northwest of the town of Honningsvåg. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac road, the Norwegian County Road 172. About south of the village, the road meets the European route E69, the main road leading to the North Cape, Norway, North Cape. The village is sheltered from the open sea by the islands of Lille Kamøya (Nordkapp), Lille Kamøya and Store Kamøya (Nordkapp), Store Kamøya, the water between the village and the latter being called the Østersundet. There are around 70 inhabitants in the village. Although there are no ethnic distinctions today, the people of the village are descended from coastal Sami people, Sami and Kven people, Kven as well as Norwegians. Magerøya
or is a large island in Finnmark county, in the extreme northern part of Norway. The island lies along the Barents Sea in Nordkapp Municipality, just north of the Porsanger Peninsula. The mouth of Porsangerfjorden lies off the east coast of the island. Magerøya has an area of and the highest elevation on the island is the mountain Gråkallfjellet. The most northern point on the island is also the northernmost point in Norway outside of Svalbard and Bjørnøya: Knivskjellodden. The island features a bleak, barren, tundra-covered landscape devoid of any trees (except for a few small pockets of mountain birch), with steep cliffs along the coast, and dramatic mountainscapes in the interior.
