Raheny GAA (Irish: ''CLG Rath Éanna'' ), founded 1958, is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Raheny, Dublin. History The club was established in 1958, and was at first one of two clubs in the area, though the other, St Vincent's, with grounds at The Oval in central Raheny, served a different catchment. Raheny were the 2007 Dublin Intermediate Hurling Championship after they defeated Ballyboden St Endas by 0–16 to 0–12 at O'Toole Park. Raheny last won the intermediate championship in 1970. Raheny won promotion to Dublin AFL Division 1 from Dublin AFL Division 2 in 2007 for the 2008 season. Naomh Olaf is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which was founded in 1981 to provide facilities for encouraging the sporting abilities of the people of the developing parish of Balally in south County Dublin, Ireland. A club house was built and players were recruited from around the area, most of them coming from the local schools of St Olaf's, Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille, St Benildus College, and St Tiernan's. In recent years more and more players are coming from the Leopardstown and Stepaside areas. Location The club is located on the Sandyford Industrial Estate in Dublin and recruits players from all around the Sandyford and Balally area, including Wedgewood and The Gallops all the way up to Stepaside. The Naomh Fionnbarra Hurling Football Comogie club was founded in 1945. The club has been synonymous with Gaelic Games and Irish culture for 65 years in the Cabra Area. Naomh Barróg are a Dublin based Gaelic Athletic Association club. History Gaelic games were introduced to the parish of Kilbarrack –Foxfield through the Scoil Lorcain school, which enjoyed success in Cumann na mBunscoil competitions in 1972, 1973, and 1974. Following the interest and enthusiasm created by these achievements it was decided to form a local GAA club. At a meeting attended by 8 people in Scoil Lorcain on 5 September 1974, Naomh Barróg GAA club was formed. The club title being adopted after a 6th-century founder of a church in Kilbarrack, the remains of which still survive in Kilbarrack graveyard. In the clubs’ first year 4 teams were entered in North Dublin GAA competitions. Faughs GAA Club ( ga, CLG Fág an Bealach) is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) hurling and camogie club in Templeogue, Dublin, Ireland. They have won 31 titles. History Faughs GAA Club was founded in Easter 1885, "under the big tree" in the Phoenix Park in Dublin. Its inaugural meeting was held at 4 Gardiner's Row, home of Michael Cusack (now the Dergvale Hotel). The club name, Faughs, is derived from the Irish language slogan, , meaning "clear the way," a battle cry used by ancient Irish warriors. When the Dublin County Board was formed in 1886, Larry O'Toole was on the committee. Thomas Davis (Irish: ''CLG Tomás Dáibhís'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club with extensive grounds and a clubhouse located on the Kiltipper Road in Tallaght, County Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1888, Thomas Davis has a long association with Tallaght from the time when it was a small rural village in the countryside. Castleknock Hurling and Football Club is a Dublin GAA club centered on the townlands of Carpenterstown and Diswellstown in the civil parish of Castleknock in Fingal, Ireland.
