Drew MacIntyre
Drew MacIntyre (born June 24, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. , he is a developmental goaltending coach and scout for the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League. Playing career MacIntyre played his entire junior ice hockey, junior hockey career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Sherbrooke Beavers. Playing four seasons with Sherbrooke, from 1999–2000 QMJHL season, 1999–2000 to 2002–03 QMJHL season, 2002–03, he recorded seven shutouts in 188 regular season games. Following his second junior hockey season, MacIntyre was chosen in round four of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings, 121st overall. He turned pro in 2002–03 ECHL season, 2002–03 with the Toledo Storm of the ECHL. Manitoba Moose
The Manitoba Moose are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. They are the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). The 2015 Spengler Cup was an ice hockey competition held in Davos, Switzerland from December 26 to December 31, 2015. All matches were played at HC Davos's home known as Vaillant Arena. Six competing teams were split into two groups of three (in the round-robin series). The Brabham Cup regular season champions were the Toledo Storm and the Kelly Cup playoff champions were the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. League changes The Macon Whoopee relocated to Lexington, Kentucky, as the Lexington Men O' War. The New Orleans Brass ceased operations due to the arrival of the New Orleans Hornets basketball team. The NBA team moved into the Brass' arena but wanted the Brass to pay for every conversion between the hockey and basketball configuration, an expense the Brass could not afford. In team sports, a shutout (North American English, US) or clean sheet (Commonwealth English, UK) is a game in which the losing team fails to score. 1999–2000 QMJHL Season
The 1999–2000 QMJHL season was the 31st season in the history of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The league grants the Montreal Rocket an expansion franchise, returning a team to the most populous city in Quebec. The QMJHL splits into four divisions, retaining the names Lebel and Dilio for its conferences. The Lebel conference is split into the West and Central divisions, and the Dilio Conference is split into the East and Maritime divisions. The overtime loss statistic is adopted by the Canadian Hockey League. The QMJHL had previously experiment with a single point awarded for an overtime loss in the 1984–85 QMJHL season. Sherbrooke Beavers
The Sherbrooke Castors or Beavers (in English) was the name of two different junior ice hockey teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and another team in the Quebec Eastern Provincial Hockey League. Both later franchises played at the Palais des Sports in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Earlier Castors The earlier Sherbrooke Beavers were a senior ice hockey team which won the 1965 Allan Cup, and previously played in the Quebec Eastern Provincial Hockey League, an amateur league and team from 1959 to 1962.
