Don't Worry, Be Healthy (, previously titled ''Happy Goh Family'') is a Singaporean Chinese sitcom which was commissioned by the Ministry of Communications and Information, sponsored by Pioneer Generation Package, and telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, Mediacorp Channel 8. The sitcom began production on 15 October 2015 and made its debut on 16 February 2016 and ended on 5 April 2016.It stars Chew Chor Meng , Eelyn Kok , Zhang Wei , Chen Tianwen , Carrie Wong & Youyi as the main casts of this series. This sitcom consists of 8 episodes, and it was first screened on every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. Plot Wu Jiabao (Chew Chor Meng) and Cai Shumei (Eelyn Kok) live in a 5-room HDB flat with their parents and children. Jiabao is an honest gentleman who leads a simple life. Chew Chor Meng
Chew Chor Meng (born 20 November 1968), better known as Zhou Chuming, is a Singaporean actor. He is one of the first batch of actors to receive the All-Time Favourite Artiste award with Zoe Tay & Li Nanxing. Career Chew started his career in showbiz after winning Star Search in 1990, a bi-annual nationwide talent search. Since then, he has never failed to make it to the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes in the Star Awards, an award ceremony for TV personalities, since its inception in 1994. In 2004, Chew was awarded the All-Time Favourite Artiste with Li Nanxing and Zoe Tay. Zheng Geping
Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8. Career Zheng, a former chef and Taekwondo instructor, became a full-time actor in 1987 after completing SBC's 7th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course, and had been given mostly supporting roles. Alfred Sim Chee Hao (born 4 October 1981), is a Singaporean singer and athletics coach. He is best known for being the overall winner of the third season of reality singing competition '' Project SuperStar''. Pioneer Generation Package
The Pioneer Generation Package (PGP) is a S$9 billion package launched by the Government of Singapore in 2014, aimed at helping pioneering Singaporeans to meet retirement adequacy. PGP is designed as a series of healthcare and social support schemes to show gratitude towards pioneer Singaporeans for their contributions to Singapore during the nation's nascency. The package covers approximately 450,000 pioneer Singaporeans over an estimated 20-year period. The package defines a "Pioneer" as a Singaporean born on or before 31 December 1949 and obtained citizenship before 31 December 1986. Eelyn Kok Hui Wen () is a Singaporean actress. She was prominently a full-time MediaCorp artist from 2001 to 2013, but continues to film on an ad hoc basis.
