''Don't Take Me Home'' is a 2017 Welsh documentary film, directed by Jonny Owen. Synopsis The film recounts the saga of Wales national football team to qualify for their first major tournament in 58 years, the UEFA Euro 2016. To get there they had to overcome huge obstacles including the suicide of their young and talented coach, Gary Speed. Gareth Bale
Gareth Frank Bale (born 16 July 1989) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and the Wales national team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest wingers of his generation and one of the greatest Welsh players of all time. Kate Muir
Kate Muir is a Scottish writer and documentary maker. Her book, ''Everything You Need to Know About the Menopause (But Were Too Afraid to Ask)'' was published in 2022, and she is the creator and producer of two documentaries on the menopause including Davina McCall: ''Sex, Myths and the Menopause'' for Channel 4 current affairs. She was chief film critic of ''The Times'' for seven years, and is the author of three novels. She is an activist for The Menopause Charity. Chris Coleman (footballer)
Christopher Patrick Coleman (born 10 June 1970) is a Welsh professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Super League Greece club Atromitos. As a player, Coleman usually played in defence, while also occasionally appearing as a forward. He began his career at Manchester City, leaving as a teenager to make his debut for hometown team Swansea City in 1987. In 1991, he joined Crystal Palace, whom he represented in the Premier League. He spent a year-and-a-half at league champions Blackburn Rovers before signing for Fulham in 1997, helping the team to two promotions from the third tier to the top flight. He won 32 caps playing for Wales. Coleman's playing career ended at the age of 32, when his leg was broken in a car crash. Following this, he started his coaching career at Fulham.
