Jack David Laugher ( ; born 30 January 1995) is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears, Daniel Goodfellow and Anthony Harding. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. Troy Matthew Dumais (born January 21, 1980) is an American competitive diver from California. Dumais has competed for the United States at four Olympic Games, winning a team bronze medal in the synchronized 3m in 2012. He attended the University of Texas at Austin. Life and career Dumais was raised in a family of divers and swimmers, and in 1994 was named Southern Pacific Association Diver of the Year in his class, as were all his siblings. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, Dumais finished 6th in the men's springboard and 4th in the men's synchronized springboard with David Pichler. Dumais placed 6th in the 2004 Summer Games Men's 3m Synchronized Spring Board with his brother, Justin Dumais. Qin Kai (; born January 31, 1986) is a Chinese diver. He competed for Team China at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. At the diving portion of the 2011 World Aquatics Championships he won a bronze in the 3 m springboard, and was the part of the pair who won the silver medal in the 3 m synchronised springboard.
