Diff'rent Strokes
''Diff'rent Strokes'' is an American television sitcom, which originally aired on NBC from November 3, 1978, to May 4, 1985, and on ABC from September 27, 1985, to March 7, 1986. The series stars Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges as Arnold and Willis Jackson, respectively, who are two boys from Harlem taken in by a wealthy Park Avenue businessman and his daughter. Phillip Drummond ( Conrad Bain) is a widower for whom their deceased mother previously worked; his daughter, Kimberly, is played by Dana Plato. Howard Leeds
Howard Michael Leeds (June 27, 1919 – February 11, 2017) was a Canadian-American television producer, writer, and series creator. Among Leeds' most notable work, he served as a producer and writer for the ABC sitcom, ''The Brady Bunch'', and worked on several television series for Norman Lear's Tandem Productions/Embassy Television, including co-creating NBC's '' The Facts of Life'' and ''Silver Spoons''. Tandem Enterprises, Inc.) was a film and television production company that was founded in 1958 by television director Bud Yorkin and television writer/producer Norman Lear. The Prospect Studios (also known as ABC Television Center est'') is a lot containing several television studios located at 4151 Prospect Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, at the corner of Prospect and Talmadge Street (named in honor of silent screen star Norma Talmadge), just east of Hollywood. Several cameras—either film cameras, film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. Herbert Kenwith (July 14, 1917 – January 30, 2008) was an American television writer, director and producer. Born in New Jersey. He directed several dozen episodes of many American television series, working often with Norman Lear. They include ''9 to 5'' (1986), ''Gimme a Break!''
