Dhaka–Khulna Highway
The N7 is a Bangladeshi national highway connecting the Daulatdia Ferry Terminal, on the south bank of the Padma River near the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, with the Port of Mongla in Bagerhat District. It serves some of the largest cities and towns in southwestern Bangladesh, including Faridpur, Magura, Jhenaidah, Jessore, and Khulna. The highway is known along various stretches as the Dhaka–Khulna Highway, the Jessore-Khulna Highway, and the Khulna-Mongla Highway. Southwestern Bangladesh is laced with numerous rivers and streams, which results in N7 having the most bridges and culverts of any highway in the national system. It is limited to two lanes of traffic for most of its length. Route description The northern terminus of N7 is the Daulatdia Ferry Terminal, on the south bank of the Padma River. Daulatdia
Daulatdia () is a village in Rajbari District, Bangladesh which is the largest brothel in Bangladesh, and has been called one of the largest brothels in the world. It is one of 20 officially sanctioned brothels in the country opening around 1988, although it was unofficially in existence for decades prior. Estimates of the number of sex workers in the village range from 1,300 to 2,000. Daulatdia services more than 3,000 men daily; these men can pay for sex, take drugs and gamble. It is located less than 40 km from two official Indian border crossings at Darshana/ Gede (south) as well as Kutubpur/Teinpur (north). Controversies Though prostitution is only legal in Bangladesh for women aged 18 or older, the average age of newly arriving sex workers is 14, and some sex workers in Daulatdia are as young as 10. Many of them are sold into sex work for the equivalent of about $250 (in 2014), which they are then obligated to pay to pimps who are mostly older women, known as "madams". ...

Jhenidah Sadar () is an upazila of Jhenaidah District in Khulna, Bangladesh. Geography Jhenidah Sadar is located at . It has a total area of 470.11 km2. Demographics As of the 2011 Census of Bangladesh, Jhenaidah Sadar upazila had 108,924 households and a population of 455,932. 89,325 (19.59%) were under 10 years of age. Benapole
Benapole () is a town at Sharsha Upazila in the Jessore District of Bangladesh. The Petrapole Customs station of India is situated across the border and since 1947, many people have travelled between what is now Bangladesh and India through Benapole Customs / Land port station. This is one of important rail transit point of railway link between Bangladesh and India. Urbanization of Benapole started in the 1990s along the Grand Trunk Road. Kotchandpur () is an upazila of Jhenaidah District in Khulna Division, in south-west Bangladesh. Geography Kotchandpur is located at . It has a total area of 165.63 km2.
