Devin Lavell Davis (born December 27, 1974) is an American/Spanish professional basketball player from Miami University in Ohio. He has played professionally in several leagues, including several seasons in Spain's Liga ACB. Career A product of Miami Senior High School in Florida, Davis was an instant fan favorite as a Redskins freshman. As a senior in 1996–97, Davis steered Miami to a Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship, earning MVP honors in the tournament, according to Ultimate Sports Basketball Yearbook. Davis plays much bigger than his size but what makes him stand out is his devilish hair, he wears dreadlocks, short braids that stick out of his head like squirmy worms. Wayne Richard Embry (born March 26, 1937) is an American former professional basketball player and basketball executive. Embry's 11-year playing career as a center spanned from 1958 to 1969 playing for the Cincinnati Royals, Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, all of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After his playing career, Embry transitioned to a career as a professional basketball executive, becoming the first African-American general manager and team president in NBA history. He played for four teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) between 1986 and 2001 and is a five-time NBA champion. Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament is an NCAA Division I postseason single-elimination tournament. The winner of the tournament receives the Mid-American Conference (MAC) automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. As of 2021, the top eight teams in conference play qualify for the tournament. Since 2000, the MAC Tournament has been held at Rocket Arena in Cleveland and is planned to be held there through at least 2030. The finals are broadcast on ESPN2 while the semifinals on CBS Sports Network & the quarterfinals are on ESPN+ for streaming.
