Dennis Moran (rugby League)
Dennis Moran, (born 22 January 1977) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played in the National Rugby League for the Parramatta Eels club and in the Super League for the London Broncos and the Wigan Warriors clubs, usually in the halves. Early life While attending Duval High School, Moran played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 1995. Playing career Moran made his National Rugby League début for the Parramatta Eels during the 1998 NRL season, eventually making 35 appearances for the club including the 18-16 1999 preliminary final defeat against Melbourne after Parramatta were winning 16-6 at halftime. In the first half of the match, Moran knocked the ball on over the try line after a pass from Nathan Cayless found him unmarked. Dennis Michael Moran (October 27, 1982 – April 14, 2013), also known by his alias Coolio, was an American computer hacker from Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, who was accused in February 2000 of a series of denial-of-service attacks that shut down some of the most popular websites on the Internet. He was 17 years old when he committed the attacks. He was later arrested and pleaded guilty to defacing the websites of Drug Abuse Resistance Education and RSA Security, as well as unauthorized access of the U.S. Army and Air Force computer systems at four military bases. Moran died of a drug overdose in 2013. Denis "Ogie" Moran (born 16 January 1956) in Ballybunion, County Kerry) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer and manager. He played football with his local club Beale, his divisional side Shannon Rangers and also at the senior level for the Kerry County team between 1975 and 1987. Early life Denis 'Ogie' Moran was born in Ballybunion, County Kerry in 1956. Born into a family that had an interest in Gaelic games, Moran's father brought him to matches every weekend. In 1962, he travelled to Croke Park as the mascot to the Kerry team that captured the All-Ireland title. Moran was educated at the local national school and later boarded at the famous Franciscan College in Gormanston, County Meath.
