Denmark National Under-19 Football Team
The Denmark national under-19 football team is a team under the Danish Football Association, selected among all Danish football players under the age of 19, to represent Denmark in international U / 19 football tournaments organized by FIFA and UEFA. The team was founded in 1950 as an under-18 team. In 2001, it was changed to an under-19 team. The Danish Football Association (; DBU) is the governing body of football in Denmark. It is the organization of Danish football clubs and runs the professional Danish football leagues, alongside the men's and women's national teams. Based in the city of Brøndby, it is a founding member of both FIFA and UEFA. The DBU has also been the governing body of futsal in Denmark since 2008. Beginnings The DBU was founded on 18 May 1889 and was the first national football association outside Great Britain and Ireland. Tobias Slotsager (born 1 January 2006) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Hellas Verona. Club career Slotsager was born in Morud, a suburb of Odense, where he started playing football for Morud IF. Kolding Idræts Forening is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of the Danish football league system, after getting promotion at the end of the 2022–23 season.
