Dejan Stanković (football Manager)
Dejan Stanković (born 17 September 1957) is a Serbian former football player and current football manager. He also holds Austrian citizenship. Playing career Stanković started his career at Red Star Belgrade (six seasons) before moving to Austria to play for ASK Voitsberg, NK Olimpija Ljubljana (two seasons), and NK Maribor. After starting at NK Maribor in 1983, he had a successful streak in the 2nd division. In addition to his technical skills, the then 26-year-old striker impressed with his speed. After two seasons he moved to the Lower Austrian football club SC Krems. Soon after, he moved to Styria for DSV Leoben, where he was in the first and after relegation in the first division was engaged. Stankovic later transitioned from striker to defender based on his experience and age, and held this position until the end of his playing career. Marko Stanković (; born 17 February 1986) is an Austrian former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He also represented the Austria national team on one occasion in 2008. Club career Born in Krems, Austria, Marko Stankovic started his career at DSV Leoben before moving to the Austrian top division side, Sturm Graz. He played in the UEFA Champions League for Austria Wien in the 2013–14 season and also recorded an assist against Zenit Saint Petersburg. Indian Super League Stankovic signed for Indian Super League side FC Pune City in January 2018 as a mid-season replacement for Robertino Pugliara and played 10 matches in the 2017-18 campaign. DSV Leoben is an Football in Austria, Austrian association football club based in Leoben. It was founded in 1928. The club currently play in Austrian Regionalliga Central, Regionalliga Central, one of the third tiers of Austrian Football. They play at the Donawitz Stadium. History WSV Donawitz The club was founded on 1 February 1928 opgericht as ''Werkssportverein Donawitz'', playing in green-white colours. They played their first season at the top Styrian league in 1930/31, playing against the likes of SK Sturm Graz, Grazer AK, Grazer SC and Kapfenberger SC. WSV clinched the title in 1939 but subsequently lost the playoffs for promotion to the Gauliga Ost after losing to FC Wien, Linzer ASK and WSV BU Neunkirchen.
