Dead In A Heartbeat
''Dead in a Heartbeat'' is a television film that was originally aired on TBS on March 3, 2002. The film is about Dr. Gillian Hayes, a heart surgeon, and Lt. Tom Royko, an officer of the bomb squad. The two must attempt to prevent Dr. Hayes' patients' artificial pacemakers, which have been implanted with bombs, from exploding. Plot Dr. Gillian Hayes is performing heart surgery to attempt to save the patient. Another doctor decides that saving the patient is hopeless. After the patient dies, Dr. Hayes was upset at the other doctor for giving up. The coroner said that it appears as if something had exploded from within the patient's chest. Lt. Tom Royko questioned Dr. Hayes in her office about the patient who died and Dr. Hayes suspected that Lt. Royko considered her to be a suspect. Royko said Hayes was not a suspect. Mark Rosman
Mark Rosman (born August 15, 1957) is an American film director, film producer, television director and screenwriter. Background Rosman is the son of a Beverly Hills dermatologist. He has a brother, a lawyer, and a sister. After graduating from Beverly Hills High School, Rosman went to UCLA but left after two years when he wasn't accepted into the film program there. Rosman was accepted into New York University's film program, where he graduated. Career During his senior year at NYU, he worked as a voluntary assistant director on Brian De Palma's ''Home Movies''. Rosman launched his career with ''The House on Sorority Row''.
