The Davidson Wildcats are the NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics teams representing Davidson College of Davidson, North Carolina, United States. A member of the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10), Davidson College sponsors teams in ten men's and nine women's NCAA sanctioned sports. The Wildcats previously competed in the Southern Conference, and the wrestling team retains associate membership in that league since the sport is not sponsored by the A-10. Matt Spear
Matthew Spear (born December 2, 1970 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is an American former soccer coach who is currently the President of the Richmond Kickers. Spear attended Davidson College where he was a four-year starter (1988–1992) on the men's soccer team. He was captain of the 1992 squad that won the Southern Conference championship. In 1993, Spear became an assistant coach at Davidson, moving up to head coach in 2000 when longtime head coach Charlie Slagle retired. In 2003, he took the Wildcats to a 15–6–2 record and an NCAA post-season berth. He was a Southern Conference Coach of the Year and has compiled an 85–84–11 record. Charles Reiter (born February 27, 1988 in New York, New York) is an American former professional soccer player for the Richmond Kickers in the USL and Pali Blues in the USL Premier Development League. Personal life Reiter was born in New York City into a Jewish family. His hometown is Westport, Connecticut. Career Youth and college Reiter attended IMG in Bradenton, Florida for his senior year of high school. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's soccer team represents Coastal Carolina University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The team competes in the Sun Belt Conference, following previous tenures in Conference USA and Big South Conference, both of which had been prior conference homes for that ream. 2003 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship
2003 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was a tournament of 48 teams from NCAA Division I across the nation who played for the NCAA Championship. This year's College Cup Final Four was held at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. All the other games were played at the home field of the higher seeded. The final was held on December 14, 2003. St. John's, Maryland, Santa Clara, and Indiana qualified for the Final Four. St. John's defeated Maryland, and Indiana beat Santa Clara.
