August Davidov
August Yulevich Davidov () (December 15, 1823 – December 22, 1885) was a Russian mathematician and engineer, professor at Moscow University, and author of works on differential equations with partial derivatives, definite integrals, and the application of probability theory to statistics, and textbooks on elementary mathematics which were repeatedly reprinted from the 1860s to the 1920s. He was president of the Moscow Mathematical Society from 1866 to 1885. Alexei Augustovich Davidov () (1867-1940) was a Russian cellist and composer, and also a banker, industrialist, and businessman. Davidov was born in Moscow on August 23, 1867, the son of mathematician and educator August Davidov originally from Courland. His uncle Karl Davidov was a cellist and composer, and head of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. In 1891 Davidov was graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Saint Petersburg and also from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory with a concentration in cello and composition. Guy Davidov
Guy Davidov (Hebrew: גיא דוידוב; born 1970) is the Elias Lieberman Professor of Labour Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Davidov completed his LLB studies at Tel-Aviv University, and his LLM and SJD degrees at the University of Toronto. From 2002 he was a faculty member at the University of Haifa, before moving to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2007, and assuming the Elias Lieberman Chair in Labour Law in 2009. In 2015 he became full professor. Davidov was the founder and first Chair (2011-2015) of the Labour Law Research Network (LLRN). Pāvels Davidovs (born 30 December 1980) is a Latvian former football goalkeeper. Club career Davidovs played for FK Avots until 2000, when he started his professional career with FK Ventspils in the Latvian Higher League. He made only one appearance through the season, being a total backup keeper. In 2002, he left FK Ventspils, going to a one level lower league and joining FK Auda in Riga. Valeriya Davidova (Russian: Валерия Давыдова; born 15 December 1997 in Tashkent) is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast of Russian origin. Aleksandar Davidov (; born 7 October 1983) is a Serbian retired footballer who played as a winger. Club career Davidov started out at Hajduk Kula, making his senior debut in 2000. Lea Davidova-Medene (); (31 March 1921 – 31 July 1986) was a Latvian sculptor who worked within the portrait genre in Latvian sculpture during the second half of the 20th century. Karl Yulievich Davydov (; ) was a Russian cellist, described by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky as the "czar of cellists". He was also a composer, mainly for the cello. Toma Kostov Davidov (2 May 1863 - 15 March 1903) was a Bulgarian Army officer and participant in the Macedonian Revolutionary Movement, a vojvode of the Macedonian Supreme Committee, later becoming a commander in the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization. The Honeywell Project was a peace group based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States that existed from the late 1960s until around 1990. During its existence, the organization waged a campaign to convince the board and executives of the Honeywell Corporation to convert their weapons manufacturing business to peaceful production. Jayar Davidov (; 8 October 1979 – 7 October 2023) was an Israeli police officer who was a police commander in Rahat and a Chief Superintendent in the Israel Police.
