David Re'em
David Re'em (; born 28 March 1953) is an Israeli former politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Likud and Herut – The National Movement between 1996 and 1999. Biography Born in Haifa, Re'em studied law for a year at university. He was a member of the board of directors at the Shikmona company and of the finance committee of the World Zionist Organization. He served two terms as mayor of Kiryat Ata starting in 1989 and was deputy chairman of the Local Government Association. Re'em has also served as chairman of the Association to Combat Drugs and the Association to Support the Elderly. Herut – The National Movement Politicians
Herut () was the major conservative nationalist political party in Israel from 1948 until its formal merger into Likud in 1988. It was an adherent of Revisionist Zionism. Some of their policies were compared to those of the Nazi party. Early years Foundation and platform Herut was founded by Menachem Begin on 15 June 1948 as a successor to the Revisionist Irgun, a militant group in Mandate Palestine. Michael Kleiner (; born 4 April 1948) is an Israeli politician and was the leader of Herut – The National Movement He is currently the President of the Supreme Court of the Israeli Likud party. Biography Michael Kleiner was born in Munich, Germany. His father was Ya'acov Kleiner and his mother was Paula Zweigenhaft (a first cousin of Rabbi Shlomo Zev Zweigenhaft), both of whom were originally from Sosnowiec, Poland.
