David Jackson (footballer, Born 1937)
David Jackson (23 January 1937 – 21 March 2024) was an English association football, footballer whose career mirrored his twin brother Peter Jackson (footballer born 1937), Peter's. He was an inside forward. The pair played at Wrexham A.F.C., Wrexham and Bradford City A.F.C., Bradford City where their father Peter Jackson (footballer born 1905), Peter Jackson was manager. Jackson also excelled at golf and cricket, playing in the Yorkshire Council League. He died in March 2024, at the age of 87. Career David Jackson was the younger of twin brothers. Valley Parade
Valley Parade, currently known as University of Bradford Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater association football, football stadium in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The stadium was built in 1886 as the home of Manningham F.C., Manningham Rugby Football Club; it remained so until 1903, when the club changed code from rugby league to association football, and became Bradford City A.F.C..
