Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, commonly abbreviated as the DTM, is a sports car racing series sanctioned by ADAC. The series is based in Germany, with rounds elsewhere in Europe. The series currently races a modified version of Group GT3 grand touring cars, replacing Class 1 Touring Cars in 2021. From 2000 to 2020, the "new DTM" continued the former Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (German Touring Car Championship) and ITC (International Touring Car Championship) which had been discontinued after 1996 due to high costs. The series raced prototype silhouette racing cars based on a mass-production road car in the same period. The second iteration went by the full name during its first five years. Since 2005, all official documents have only referred to the series using the abbreviated name. History Background During the ITC era, a large proportion of the revenue generated by the championship went to the FIA, which led to complaints from the teams regarding the small re ...

DTM (nightclub)
DTM (originally Don't Tell Mama) is an LGBTQ nightclub in Helsinki, Finland. Founded in 1992, it was once the largest gay club in Northern Europe. The venue was initially situated in Helsinki's Kamppi neighborhood, having since relocated three times: to Iso Roobertinkatu in Punavuori in 2003, to Mannerheimintie in Kluuvi in 2012, and to Teurastamo in Kalasatama in 2023. Popular with gay men, DTM also caters to a straight and lesbian customer base. The club's playlists contain primarily pop songs, dance music, techno and Finnish hits, with live entertainment often taking the form of drag shows. Through an agreement with UK-based promoter Klub Kids, DTM hosted visiting performers from ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' from January 2019 to early 2020, when the Mannerheimintie venue closed. The club temporarily ceased operation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but following a protracted conflict over noise complaints from a neighboring hotel—which ended in June 2020—the Mannerheimintie lo ...

Diamond Boy (DTM)
"Diamond Boy (DTM)" is a song by American singer-songwriter SZA from ''Lana'' (2024), the reissue of her second studio album ''SOS'' (2022). It is an R&B love song, with a musical structure that features a call and response technique. Each instrument is arranged intentionally around SZA's vocals, which are delivered softly and melodically. The instrumental consists of guitar plucks, drums, keyboards, and a sub-bass bassline. In the lyrics, the narrator seductively expresses her passionate devotion to a lover, whom she compares to a shiny diamond. She invites him to be physically intimate, though she asks him if she is "doing too much". "Diamond Boy (DTM)" is the fourth track of ''Lana'', released on December 20, 2024. The song peaked at number 60 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Over a year before its release, it was previewed in the outro for the music video of the single " Snooze". A few critics wrote positively about the song in reviews of ''Lana'', praising it for it ...

Detroit Techno Militia
Detroit Techno Militia is a grass roots collective of DJ's and producers located in Detroit, MI on a mission to promote Detroit Techno around the world. They compare their mission to restoring an old building. Musically, they believe that Detroit has a lot to offer, and they want to make sure the rest of the world knows about it. After years of incorporation, in early 2007 Detroit Techno Militia formally launched their record label with a distribution deal from Cratesavers Muzik. After three very successful 12" vinyl EP releases, DTM001, DTM002, and DTM003, they amicably split with Cratesavers and took all of the responsibilities in-house. Their next two 12" vinyl EPs, DTM004, and DTM005 were independently released and distributed. Today, the Detroit Techno Militia continues to release music on their own vinyl label, their digital label: "DTM Digital", and several other internationally distributed record labels. The Detroit Techno Militia also features ensemble acts with multiple ...

Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) was a touring car racing series held from 1984 to 1996. Originally based in Germany, it held additional rounds elsewhere in Europe and later worldwide. The original DTM had resumed racing with production based cars, as the former Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft had switched to Group 5 in 1977 and even to expensive Group C sportscars in 1982, leading to its decline. Since 2000, a new DTM has been run as the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, again organised by ITR and former Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger. History Rise of the original DTM The original DTM was started in 1984 as Deutschen Produktionswagen Meisterschaft (German Production Car Championship), with cars entered by privateer teams and under FIA Group A rules, but was extensively modified throughout the years, allowing more modifications. In the late 1980s, works teams joined the DTM, and it became one of the most popular motorsport championships in Europe. Turbocharge ...

Digital Terrain Model
A digital elevation model (DEM) or digital surface model (DSM) is a 3D computer graphics representation of elevation data to represent terrain or overlaying objects, commonly of a planet, Natural satellite, moon, or asteroid. A "global DEM" refers to a discrete global grid. DEMs are used often in geographic information systems (GIS), and are the most common basis for digitally produced Relief mapping (computer graphics), relief maps. A digital terrain model (DTM) represents specifically the ground surface while DEM and DSM may represent tree top Canopy (biology), canopy or building roofs. While a DSM may be useful for Landscape planning, landscape modeling, Urban planning, city modeling and visualization applications, a DTM is often required for flood or drainage modeling, Land-use planning, land-use studies, geological applications, and other applications, and in planetary science. Terminology There is no universal usage of the terms ''digital elevation model'' (DEM), ''di ...

Dual Transfer Mode
Dual Transfer Mode (DTM) is a protocol based on the GSM standard that makes simultaneous transfer of Circuit switched (CS) voice and Packet switched (PS) data over the same radio channel ( ARFCN) simpler. Without DTM, the mobile device must be capable of reception and transmission simultaneously (full-duplex) requiring complex and expensive circuitry in the mobile terminal. With DTM this requirement doesn't exist and makes the device implementation simpler and cheaper. DTM is a 3GPP feature introduced in R4 of the specification series.3GPP specification: http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/html-info/43055.htm Traditionally, GSM/EDGE device with simultaneous CS/PS capability was supported, but only for Class A GPRS devices. Due to the fact that the uplink and downlink timeslot usage was not co-ordinated between the voice and data connections, the class A devices in practice had to be capable of transmit and reception simultaneously. With DTM, a mobile phone capable can be engaged in bot ...

Degtyaryov Machine Gun
The Degtyaryov machine gun ( literally: "Degtyaryov's infantry machine gun") or DP-27/DP-28 is a light machine gun firing the 7.62×54mmR cartridge that was primarily used by the Soviet Union, with service trials starting in 1927, followed by general deployment in 1928. Besides being the standard Soviet infantry light machine gun (LMG) during World War II, with various modifications it was used in aircraft as a flexible defensive weapon, and it was equipped on almost all Soviet tanks in WWII as either a flexible bow machine gun or a co-axial machine gun controlled by the gunner. It was improved in 1943 producing the DPM, but it was replaced in 1946 with the RP-46 which improved on the basic DP design by converting it to use belt feed. The DP machine gun was supplemented in the 1950s by the more modern RPD machine gun and entirely replaced in Soviet service by the general purpose PK machine gun in the 1960s. Service use Despite its limitations, the DP had a reputation as a r ...

Driver Test Manager
The Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) is a test automation framework provided by Microsoft to certify devices for Windows. Earlier similarly released frameworks were called ''Windows Hardware Certification Kit'' (Windows HCK) and ''Windows Logo Kit'' (WLK). It provides automated scheduling and execution of the driver tests that hardware vendors are required to pass in order to qualify to use the Microsoft Designed for Windows Logo. It also enables users to automate driver tests they have created themselves. These tests can be mixed and matched with the Logo tests provided by Microsoft to create a custom test pass, which enables organizations to use the DTM to validate drivers in any way they see fit. History During the Windows 2000, XP, 2003 timeframe there was an old tool Hardware Compatibility Test (HCT) to certify devices. When Windows Vista was released the tool was replaced by Driver Test Manager (DTM) which can certify drivers for all then-supported platforms. At ...
