Oasis (band)
Oasis are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. The group initially consisted of Liam Gallagher (lead vocals), Paul Arthurs, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (musician), Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums). Liam asked his older brother Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, vocals) to join as a fifth member a few months later to finalise their formation. Brian Cannon is a British graphic designer, art director, photographer, band manager and music video director. His Microdot graphic design company created the album cover for Oasis' debut album, ''Definitely Maybe'' in 1994. Two of Cannon's record sleeve designs—''Definitely Maybe'' (#14) and "This Is Music" (#79)—featured in ''Q'' magazine's "The Hundred Best Record Covers Of All Time" list published in 2001. "The Fool on the Hill" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 EP and album '' Magical Mystery Tour''. It was written and sung by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership.
