Connecticut Huskies Football
The UConn Huskies football team is a college football team that represents the University of Connecticut in the sport of American football. The team competes in NCAA Division I FBS as an NCAA Division I FBS independent schools, independent. Connecticut first fielded a team in 1896 and participated in NCAA Football Championship Subdivision, Division I-AA until 1999. 1896 Storrs Aggies Football Team
The 1896 Storrs Aggies football team represented Storrs Agricultural College, now the University of Connecticut, as an independent during the 1896 college football season.
