Coming Of Age (Breaking Point Album)
''Coming of Age'' is the original 8-song demo record by alternative rock band Breaking Point, then known as (The) Broken. It was recorded between late-1999 and mid-2000 and was released on January 16, 2001. It was a limited release and is now a sought-after collectible. History After guitar player Justin Rimer got a job at the famous Ardent Studios in Memphis, he became an assistant engineer for such then-emerging acts as 3 Doors Down and Train. Rimmer's time at Ardent led to Broken getting a "spec" (sic) deal at the studio. The result of that deal was the original "Coming of Age", an 8-track demo record that was later the basis for Wind-Up to sign the band. Of the record's 8 tracks, five were later remixed and used on the band's debut L.P also titled "Coming of Age". Breaking Point (band)
Breaking Point was an American Rock music, rock band on the record label Wind-up Records, Wind-Up Entertainment. It was founded in 1999 in Memphis, Tennessee. Breaking Point's debut album, ''Coming of Age (Breaking Point album), Coming of Age'', was released in 2001 with a follow-up, ''Beautiful Disorder'', released in 2005. Their songs have been used in a number of films and theatrical soundtracks, including ''Wishcraft'', ''The Scorpion King'', the Funimation dub of ''Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge'', and ''Fantastic Four (2005 film), Fantastic Four'', as well as a trailer for ''Biker Boyz''. Additionally, their song "One of a Kind" had been used as the theme song of Rob Van Dam, who was also featured in the music video, during his WWE career. ''WWF Forceable Entry'' is a soundtrack album by WWE (then known as the World Wrestling Federation, or WWF). Released on March 26, 2002 by Columbia Records, it features entrance music of WWE wrestlers re-recorded by various hard rock and heavy metal artists and bands. It is also the last album released under the "WWF" name, as the company changed its name to "WWE" in May 2002 after a British court ruled in favor of the World Wide Fund for Nature for ownership of the "WWF" initialism and branding (the World Wrestling Federation and the World Wide Fund for Nature had used the "WWF" name and branding since 1979 at the time). Greg Ladanyi
Greg Ladanyi (July 6, 1952 – September 29, 2009) was an American record producer and recording engineer of Hungarian descent, known for his work with many musicians, including Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, The Church, Caifanes, Anna Vissi, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, Don Henley, and Jeff Healey. Biography Ladanyi began his career by working on ''Hasten Down the Wind'' under the tutelage of engineer/producer Val Garay. Around 1980 Ladanyi expanded from just engineering into production as well. He recounted, "Part of the way I came up into coproducing was by elevating engineering to a point where it has an awful lot to do with the production of the record. That comes from a lot of dialogue with an artist and really taking some responsibility for the way a record comes out, as opposed to just sitting there and doing what an artist or producer needs done." Joseph Scott Sappington (born May 3, 1972) is an American musician, best known as the former lead vocalist of the rock band Saliva. Jim Johnston (composer)
James Alan Johnston (born June 19, 1952) is an American music composer and musician best known for his time with professional wrestling promotion, WWE. Over the course of three decades, he composed and recorded entrance theme music for the promotion's wrestlers, and compilations of his music released by WWE charted highly in several countries. Writing and recording mostly by himself, he wrote over 10,000 pieces of music, many of which are as highly regarded as the wrestlers themselves. is a Japanese professional wrestler and martial artist signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), but is currently inactive due to suffering a shoulder injury. Muzak is an American brand of background music played in retail stores and other public establishments.
