Chris Lawrence (born 19 October 1988) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played his entire career as a and for the Wests Tigers in the NRL, and has played for Australia at international level. He also played for the Prime Minister's XIII and NSW City. Background Lawrence was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Lawrence played junior football with Eaglevale St Andrews. While attending St Gregory's College, Campbelltown, he played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2006. Career 2006–2010 In Round 21 of the 2006 season, and whilst still in high school, Lawrence made his debut for the Wests Tigers against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium. Christopher Lawrence (born 24 December 1956) is a classical musician, author, and conductor. He is most notable for his work as a broadcaster on Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio station ABC Classic FM, and previously on ABC Radio National and ABC Local Radio. Early life Lawrence's parents were both nightclub and television entertainers, his father a singer and pianist, his mother a singer and dancer. He has two younger brothers. From age 11 he had attended the Sydney Conservatorium of Music High School, studying piano and cello, but at age 15 had to terminate his studies and get a job when his parents divorced and his mother became a single mother of three sons. Chris Laurence (born 6 January 1949) is an English musician. Born in London, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and primarily works with jazz and classical music. In the classical world he was principal double bass with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields orchestra until 1995, playing on many of their recordings ranging from the film ''Amadeus'' to Benjamin Britten's ''Curlew River''. He has recorded with many jazz artists, including trombonist J. J. Johnson, Tony Coe, Joe Williams, Sarah Vaughan, Clark Terry, Johnny Mathis, and Lena Horne.
