Zed (band)
Zed is a New Zealand rock group, which was formed as Supra in 1996 in Christchurch by Ben Campbell (musician), Ben Campbell on bass guitar and triangle, Nathan King (singer-songwriter), Nathan King on lead vocals, guitar and trumpet, and Adrian Palmer on drums and percussion. In 2000 they added a second guitarist, Andrew Lynch. Their debut album, ''Silencer (Zed album), Silencer'' (2000), peaked at No. 1 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart, New Zealand Albums Chart; while their second album, ''This Little Empire'' (November 2003), reached No. 3. Their top 10 singles are "Glorafilia" (1999), "Renegade Fighter" (2000), and "Hard to Find Her" (2003). They toured New Zealand, Australia and United States before disbanding in 2004. They have reformed periodically including in 2017, 2019 and 2023. Zed A. Shaw is a software developer best known for creating the ''Learn Code the Hard Way'' series of programming tutorials, as well as for creating the Mongrel web server for Ruby web applications. Zdenko Matthew "Zed" Seselja (; born 27 March 1977) is an Australian politician who was a Senator for the Australian Capital Territory from 2013 to 2022, representing the Liberal Party. He was the Minister for International Development and the Pacific in the Morrison government from December 2020 to May 2022, and previously served as an assistant minister in the Morrison and Turnbull governments since 2016. Zed "Zeddy" Al Refai (born October 28, 1966) is a Kuwaiti climber. He was the first Arab to climb Mount Everest and the 46th person to climb all seven highest summits in the seven continents of the world. Biography Al Refai spent part of his childhood in the USA and attended university at institutions in Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Zed Key (born April 4, 2002) is an American college basketball player for the Dayton Flyers of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Early life Key was born on April 4, 2002. He was raised in Bay Shore and went to Brentwood HS through his sophomore season and to Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, New York as a junior and senior. With teammate and future Illinois point guard André Curbelo, Long Island Lutheran was one of the best high school programs in the country.
