Maria da Graça Xuxa Meneghel ( , ; born Maria da Graça Meneghel on 27 March 1963) is a Brazilian TV host, actress, singer, and businesswoman. Nicknamed "The Queen of Children", Xuxa built the largest Latin and South American children's entertainment empire. In the early 1990s, she presented television programs in Brazil, Argentina, Spain and the United States simultaneously, reaching around 20 million viewers daily. According to different sources, the singer's sales range between 30 and 50 million copies. However, in 2025, the record label Som Livre, with which the artist recorded almost all of her albums, gave her an award for 28 million copies sold in her career and 10 billion streams to date. Sasha Meneghel Szafir Figueiredo (born 28 July 1998) is a Brazilian model. Biography Meneghel was born in Rio de Janeiro. She is the only child of TV host, singer and businesswoman Xuxa Meneghel and Luciano Szafir. She grew up in the spotlight, having her first minutes of life displayed by Rede Globo's prime time news program '' Jornal Nacional''. Her birth became the most documented in the history of Brazil, according to magazine Veja. Meneghel appeared in programs presented by her mother including '' Xuxa só para Baixinhos''. In 2009 she starred in her first feature film in '' Xuxa em O Mistério de Feiurinha'', directed by Tizuka Yamasaki. Meneghel was a volleyball player for the team of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. Luciano Szafir
Luciano Lebelson Szafir (born 31 December 1968) is a Brazilian businessman, actor, and former model. Early life Szafir is the son of Gabriel and Betty Szafir. He has a twin sister named Priscila, an older sister named Alexandra and a younger brother named Salomão. He is also uncle to his twin sister's two children, Júlia and Luís Otávio. Szafir is of Ashkenazi Jews, Ashkenazi Jewish descent. Career Earlier in his career, Szafir worked as a model.
