The Scottish Basketball Championship Women is the national women's basketball league of Scotland. The league forms the second tier of British women's basketball (inline with the English Basketball League) after the professional setup of the Women's British Basketball League, WBBL, where Scotland has one representative, the Caledonia Pride, Caledonia Gladiators. The FA Women's National League is a group of six football divisions which sit at the third and fourth tiers of women's football in England. Founded in 1991 as the WFA National League, the league was run by the Women's Football Association, before control was handed to the Football Association in 1994, and the name changed to FA Women's Premier League. The league consisted of the National Division, England's top division until 2010, and the Northern and Southern Divisions, which formed the second tier. The Women's Loyal National League, also known as the Woman's National Loyal League and other variations of that name, was formed on May 14, 1863, to campaign for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would abolish slavery. It was organized by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, its president, and Susan B. Anthony, its secretary.
