Waterfront station is a major Intermodal passenger transport, intermodal public transportation facility and the main transit terminus in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is on West Cordova Street in Downtown Vancouver, between Granville and Seymour Street. The Sentosa Express is a monorail line connecting Sentosa island to HarbourFront on Pulau Ujong, the Singapore mainland. It was built at a cost of S$140 million to replace the previous Sentosa Monorail. Development began in June 2003 and construction works were completed in late 2006. Waterfront Trail
The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail is a signed route of roads and trails in Ontario, Canada, running between Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie and the Quebec border following the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. The trail connects over 150 communities and First Nations. It is a legacy project of thWaterfront Regeneration Trust and its community partners. Through Toronto, the trail is called the Martin Goodman Trail. The Waterfront Trail is also used by commuters in parts of Southern Ontario. Waterfront Place is an office building in the Brisbane central business district in Queensland, Australia. It is located at 1 Eagle Street, beside the Brisbane River. It was constructed by renowned Queensland builder and developer John Pidgeon, F. A. Pidgeon and Son who led the projects development in a joint venture with Folkestone Limited. The WaterFront Center is non-profit organization located in Oyster Bay, New York. The organization provides access to the waters of Oyster Bay Harbor and Long Island Sound History In the late 1980’s a real estate development proposal threatened the former Jakobson Shipyard on the shoreline of Oyster Bay. Concerned about the impact this development would have on Oyster Bay Harbor, Friends of the Bay, a not-for-profit group, the late State Senator Ralph Marino, former State Senator Carl Marcellino, and other elected officials lead a campaign that brought the community together against that proposal and came up with six proposals. The Waterfront, Norwich
The Waterfront is a live music venue and nightclub in King Street, Norwich, Norfolk. It is located on the bank of the River Wensum, opposite Norwich Riverside. It has been managed by the Union of UEA Students since 1993. It is not, however, a student club, and entrance is open to the public. The building comprises two floors. The ground floor contains a 700 capacity main room with integral bar, dressing rooms and toilets. The first floor features a 200 capacity room, a café bar and an open plan office. Waterfront Hall
Belfast Waterfront is a multi-purpose conference and entertainment centre, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, designed by local architects' firm Robinson McIlwaine. The hall is located in Lanyon Place, the flagship development of the Laganside Corporation. The development is named after the architect Charles Lanyon. Construction Planning for the building began 1989, with the hall being completed in 1997 for the sum of £32 million. Practice partner Peter McGuckin was the project architect. The main circular Auditorium seats 2,241 and is based on the Berlin Philharmonic Hall designed by Hans Scharoun.
