''Watchmen'' is a twelve-issue comic book Limited series (comics), limited series created by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, and John Higgins (comics), John Higgins, published by DC Comics in 1986 and 1987. ''Watchmen'' focuses on six main characters: the Comedian (character), Comedian, Doctor Manhattan, Nite Owl, Nite Owl II, Ozymandias (Watchmen), Ozymandias, Rorschach (character), Rorschach, and the Silk Spectre, Silk Spectre II. ''Before Watchmen'' is a series of comic books published by DC Comics in 2012. Acting as a prequel to the 1986 12-issue ''Watchmen'' limited series by writer Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons, the project consists of eight limited series and one one-shot (though two were planned) for a total of 37 issues. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (; born July 15, 1986) is an American actor.
