Vyškov District () is a Okres, district in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is the town of Vyškov. Districts Of The Czech Republic
Districts of the Czech Republic are territorial units, formerly used as second-level administrative divisions of the Czech Republic. After their primary administrative function has been abolished in 2003, they still exist for the activities of specific authorities and as statistical units. Their administrative function was moved to selected municipalities. Hoštice-Heroltice
Hoštice-Heroltice is a municipality in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Hodějice is a municipality and village in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,100 inhabitants. Etymology The name is derived from the personal name Hoděj, meaning "Hoděj's (court)". Geography Hodějice is located about south of Vyškov and east of Brno.
