Türi Parish
Türi Parish () is a rural municipality in Järva County, Estonia. On 16 October 2005 Kabala Parish, Oisu Parish, Town of Türi and the former Türi Parish were united to form a new Türi Parish. In 2017 the parishes of Türi, Käru and Väätsa were united into the current Türi Parish. Municipalities Of Estonia
A municipality (, plural ) is the smallest administrative subdivision of Estonia. Each municipality is a unit of self-government with its representative and executive bodies. The municipalities in Estonia cover the entire territory of the country. Kolu is a village in Türi Parish, Järva County in central Estonia. (retrieved 28 July 2021) Kolu railway station on the Tallinn - Viljandi railway line operated by Elron (rail transit) is a short distance from the village. Kolu Manor Kolu () estate dates from 1639, when it was founded by Peter Grote. The Baltic German Grote (later Grotenhielm) family owned the property until 1875, after which it switched hands a few times before becoming a school in the 20th century. It is today private property. The main building was built 1888-1890 and designed by architect Erwin Bernhard. Kirna, Järva County
Kirna is a village in Türi Parish, Järva County in central Estonia. Kirna Manor The whole estate was given as a gift to the von Fersen family in 1614 and remained in the ownership for over a hundred years. After 1787, it belonged to various Baltic German and Russian families from the nobility. After 1919 it was used as a school up until World War II. During the Soviet occupation of Estonia, the manor housed the offices of a collective farm. The building received its present appearance during a neoclassical reconstruction of an earlier building around 1820. The hall and other ceremonial rooms on the main floor was at that time also decorated with typical stucco ornaments. Some later additions were in a neo-Gothic style.
