Tallinn Trophy
The Tallinn Trophy is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), organized and hosted in Tallinn, Estonia, by the Estonian Skating Union (). It debuted in 2002 as a regional competition before expanding as an international event in 2011 and joining the ISU Challenger Series in 2015. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; and when the event is part of the Challenger Series, skaters earn ISU World Standing points based on their results. Aleksandr Selevko of Estonia holds the record for winning the most Tallinn Trophy titles in men's singles (with two), while Stanislava Konstantinova of Russia and Josefin Taljegård of Sweden are tied for winning the most Tallinn Trophy titles in women's singles (with two each). The 2016 CS Tallinn Trophy was a senior international figure skating competition, held in November 2016 at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. Deniss Vasiļjevs (born 9 August 1999) is a Latvian figure skater. He is the 2022 European Figure Skating Championships, 2022 European bronze medalist, the 2022 MK John Wilson Trophy silver medalist, a four-time ISU Challenger Series medalist (including gold at the 2020 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, 2020 Nebelhorn Trophy), and a seven-time Latvian Figure Skating Championships, Latvian national champion (2016–18, 2020, 2022–24). Daniel Samohin (; born 12 March 1998) is an Israeli figure skater who currently competes for the US. He is the 2016 World Junior champion, and has won two ISU Challenger Series medals, including a gold medal at the 2015 U.S. International Classic. Alexei Bychenko (; ; born 5 February 1988) is a retired Ukrainian-born Israeli figure skater. He represented Ukraine through 2009 and Israel after that. He is the 2016 European Figure Skating Championships silver medalist and 2016 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist. He is the first Israeli skater to medal at the European Championships.
