Club Atlético Talleres (; ), mostly known simply as Talleres ( in Rioplatense Spanish, Rioplatense accent and or in Cordobés Spanish, Cordobés accent; ), is an Football in Argentina, Argentine professional sports club based in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, Córdoba. The institution is mostly known for its association football, football team, which currently plays in the Argentine Primera División. Talleres was three times runner-up of the First Division (1977, 2023, and 2024), and two times runner-up of the Copa Argentina (2020 and 2022). Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes
The Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, formerly known as Estadio Córdoba, is a stadium in the Chateau Carreras neighborhood of Córdoba, Argentina. Owned by the Córdoba Province, the venue is used mostly for association football and rugby union matches and also sometimes for athletics. The stadium was built in 1976 in preparation for the 1978 FIFA World Cup, with a capacity for 37,851 spectators although it doesn't provide seating for all of them, like many Argentine stadiums. Most football teams in Córdoba have their own stadiums but they usually prefer playing in this stadium for its size and comfort, especially when playing important games that attract big crowds. Luis Galván
Luis Adolfo Galván (24 February 1948 – 5 May 2025) was an Argentine footballer who played as a centre back. He played for Argentina when the team won the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Club career Galván was born in Fernández, Santiago del Estero. He started his career at 17, possibly playing for Club Atletico Union of Santiago del Estero. He joined Talleres de Córdoba in 1970, which was the club where he spent the majority of his career. He never won a major trophy with the club but did help Talleres achieve second (1977) and fourth place (1976, 1978) in the Nacional Championship, and third place (1980) in the Metropolitano Championship. The Primera División A (; ), known officially as Campeonato Femenino YPF for sponsorship reasons, is a semi-professional women's football league in Argentina. The tournament is ruled by the Argentine Football Association (AFA), with its first season held in 1991. Since 2016, the tournament has been the highest tier of the Argentine women's football league system following the creation of a second division called Primera División B. They are the women's football section of the sports club of the same name. They play in the Argentine Primera División. José Daniel Valencia
José Daniel Valencia (born 3 October 1955) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He played for Argentina when the team won 1978 World Cup. Club career Valencia started his club career at Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy but was soon transferred to Talleres de Córdoba, the club at which he would play most of his career. At Talleres, Valencia suffered the disappointment of finishing runner-up in Nacional 1977, finishing third in Metropolitano 1980, and losing the semi-finals on four occasions. Miguel Oviedo
Miguel Ángel Oviedo (born 12 October 1950 in Córdoba) is an Argentine former football midfielder who was part of the Argentina squad that won the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Oviedo played his entire club career in the Argentine league system, starting with Instituto de Córdoba in 1973. In 1974, he was signed by Instituto's fierce local rivals Talleres de Córdoba. Over the next eight years Talleres were one of the strongest teams in Argentina, they reached several Semi-Finals in the Nacional championships and lost the final in 1977 on the away goals rule to Club Atlético Independiente. Emanuel Reynoso (born 16 November 1995), sometimes known as Bebelo, is an Argentine professional association football, footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or Winger (association football), winger for Talleres de Córdoba. Career Talleres Reynoso had his debut in 2014, playing for Talleres when the team was competing in the third division. Talleres de Córdoba, Talleres won the tournament in 2015 and got promoted to B Nacional, the Second Argentine Division.
